Root Canal Treatment

In the roots of the teeth, there are thin channels that contain the pulp (tooth nerves) that provide the continuity of the teeth. In cases where this tissue is infected or damaged, the infection spreads to tissues around the tooth (such as the jawbone) and is usually accompanied by severe pain. If neglected, facial swelling and gingival inflammation may occur. In such a case, it is aimed to restore the health of the tissues around the tooth by removing the dental nerve and supporting treatments. If there is no problem in the tooth canals or systemically, the tooth can be saved with a probability of over ninety percent and it can be used for many years, although no definite time can be given.
